An "Experiencer" is someone who has encountered something unusual that cannot be explained by natural phenomenon but that nevertheless creates major shifts in the person's life and impact relationships.
He's not the same!
When an unusual experience occurs to one partner, the other will not understand. Couple and familial dynamics alter in such a way as to provoke misunderstanding, accusation, and conflict. Thus, it is all the more important to explore how to integrate the experience into the relationship.
Why can't they see?
Experiencers can easily fall into the trap of becoming too dogmatic or demanding. The former is the result of taking one's subjective experience and assuming it is what everyone needs. The latter, demanding, comes when the experiencer feels "no one gets it." The feeling further drives her to 'make' people understand.
